برگذاری جشن باستانی نوروز توسط افغان‌ها و ایرانی‌های مقیم فرانکفورت با حمایت و تشریک مساعی دوستان آلمانی شان. نوروز در ایران و افغانستان آغاز سال نو محسوب می‌شود و در برخی دیگر از کشورها یعنی تاجیکستان، روسیه، قرقیزستان، قزاقستان، ترکمنستان،ازبکستان آذربایجان و برخی دیگر کشورها تعطیلی رسمی است و مردمان آن جشن را برپا می‌کنند.
